What Happened...?

Dear lost love what just happened?
I thought that you were the one...
I gave you a second chance but
you don't deserve a final chance at all...

After all we went through I love you
still to the end even when I questioned
whether it was worth the fight I
still carried on and I still loved you...

I noticed you acted differently
but I thought nothing of it just
assuming you were getting back in the
swing of things or having a bad day...

I was wrong, I was wrong about it all
I thought you loved me...you told
me everyday that you did and would...
why were you lying...or 'hiding' this from me?

I can't believe what has happened...
I just want to curl up in a corner
and cry until I cannot cry anymore...
I hate the fact that you did this to me...

I want to go up to your face and yell
until I have no more voice and the Earth
shakes and cries right along with me...
Why did you have to do this to me?
